*Izabella Natrins BSc PSYCH Dip NLC (IHS) FNTP – a former health research psychologist, Izabella is a qualified Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Health Coach, Certified Digestive Health Practitioner, a Nutritional Chef, author and speaker. Izabella will talk to us about the fundamental role a healthy gut microbiome plays in supporting our overall health at pre- peri and post-menopause, how our lifestyle can help or hinder our gut health, and how to nourish our body for specific aspects of our health at mid-life and beyond. She will explain how to create a food plan that includes a wide variety of proteins, fats, carbs, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients and fermented foods, herbs and spices that help us to improve our health to give us more energy and more vitality. Izabella will show us how to cook a delicious, nutritious and inexpensive ‘go-to’ meal in minutes and how to make our own powerfully probiotic ‘kimchi’. The session will include a variety of useful handouts and recipes.
**There are many forms of Yoga which can be really effective in helping with the symptoms of menopause. For
example, Pranayama (Breathing Practices) to help manage symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety, exhaustion and
mood swings; Yoga Asana & Pawanmuktasana (Physical Movement & Joint Rotations) to alleviate stiffness in the joints and encourage flexibility throughout the whole of the body; and Yoga Nidra (Deep Relaxation) for deep healing and release. Every session is designed to nurture, nourish & restore vitality.
